On June 21, 1974, a Khmer Communist, Tes Sophal, defected to military authority in Battalion 337, KPT 47, Division 3 in Daem Trang at VT:774-618. He brought along one M-79 and one grenade. He was a militiaman of Preah Nipean sub-district in Kong Pisey district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ ទេស សុផល បានមកសុំចុះចូលជាមួយអាជ្ញាធរយោធានៅកងវរៈសេនា តូចលេខ៣៣៧ កពត ៤៧កងពលធំលេខ៣ នៅដើមត្រាំង ត្រង់ចំណុច វ៉េតេៈ៧៧៤-៦១៨ដោយនាំមកជាមួយនូវកាំ ភើ្លងអ៊ឹម៧៩ មួយដើម និងគ្រាប់បែកដៃមួយគ្រាប់។ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដឈ្មោះ ទេស សុផលនេះ ជាកងឈ្លបនៅ ឃុំព្រះនិញ្វន ស្រុកគងពិសី។
