On September 20, 1974, four Khmer Communist defectors, Mao Sambatt, 25 years old, So Um known as Sa Yoeun, 20 years old, Nhim Saroeun known as My, 19 years old, and Lum Li Hieng known as Leng Saman, 21 years old, returned to national community by reporting themselves to military authorities in Infantry Division 1. They also brought along such weapons as 3 AK-47, a telescopic sight of 75mm non rejected shell, and 2 percuteurs.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២០ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដឈ្មោះ ម៉ៅ សម្បតិ្ដ អាយុ២៥ឆ្នាំ ឈ្មោះ សូ អុំ ហៅ សូយឿន អាយុ២០ឆ្នាំ ឈ្មោះ ញឹម សារឿន ហៅ ម៉ី អាយុ១៩ឆ្នាំ ឈ្មោះ លន់ លីហៀង ហៅ ឡេង សាម៉ន អាយុ២១ឆ្នាំ បានចូលមករួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិ វិញជាមួយកងកម្លាំងយោធានៃកងពលធំថើ្មរជើងទី១ ដោយយកជាប់ និងខ្លួនជាមួយនូវកាំភើ្លងអាកា៤៧ ចំនួន៣ដើម, ប្រដាប់កែវឆ្លុះកាំភើ្លង ទំហំ៧៥មម ឥតធាក់ថយមួយគ្រឿង និងផើកាត់ឆើ ចំនួន២។
