On November 18, 1973, Khmer Communist under the command of Norng Chhann confiscated a large number of machine boats from villagers to transport ammunition from Sre Thom at US 772-900 in Veal Renh towards Prek Tabek village at US 622-637 and Mo village at US 658-640 in Sre Cham sub-district, Prey Nup district, Kampong Saom in order to hide themselves.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៨ តុលា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដមួយចំនួនក្រោមបញ្ជា ឈ្មោះ នង ឆាន់ បានរឹបអូសយកកាណូតជាច្រើនគ្រឿងពីអ្នកស្រុក ដើម្បីដឹកគ្រាប់រំសេវពីភូមិស្រែធំ ត្រង់អ៊ុយអេស ៧៧២-៩០០ ក្នុងឃុំវាលរេញឆ្ពោះទៅលាក់ទុកនៅភូមិព្រែកតាបែក ត្រង់អ៊ុយអេស ៦២២-៦៣៧ និងភូមិម៉ូ ត្រង់អ៊ុយអេស ៦៥៨-៦៤០ ក្នុងឃុំស្រែចាម ស្រុកព្រៃនប់ «កំពង់សោម»។
