Source said that on January 6, 1974, 600 Khmer Communists of Regiment 09 withdrew from Prek Ta Ev and Koh Krabei which were near the National military base to rest in 300 meters north of Prek Thmei village at WT 007-683 in Kien Svay district, Kandal province.
