In August 1971, Bun Samnang, was introduced to be a soldier in Chak Angre headquarter by his cousin Sok Vach. He said that he did not know his commander and unit because he just joined the national armed forces for 3 or 4 days. After, Bun Samnang and Sok Vach couldn't ask for the permission letter to meet their parents they escaped from the headquarter to their home. When they arrived at Prek Pnoeu gas station, they were arrested by the National Army.
កាលពីខែសីហា ១៩៧១ ខ្ញុំបាទជាមួយឈ្មោះ ប៊ុន សំណាង ក្រោម ការដឹកនាំរបស់ជីដូនមួយឈ្មោះ សុខ វ៉ាច សុំធ្វើទាហាននៅបន្ទាយ ចាក់អង្រែ។ ខ្ញុំមិនទាន់ស្គាល់មេបញ្ជាការ និងកងនៅឡើយព្រោះ ទើបចូលបាន៣-៤ថ្ងៃ។ បន្ទាប់ពីសុំច្បាប់មិនបានខ្ញុំទាំងពីរនាក់ ក៍លួចរត់ចេញពីបន្ទាយទៅប្រាប់ឪពុកម្ដាយនៅឯស្រុក។ ពេលដែល ខ្ញុំទាំងពីរនាក់ដើរដល់ឃ្លាំងសាំងនៅព្រែកព្នៅក៍ត្រូវទាហានចាប់ទាំងពីរ នាក់តែម្ដង។
