New Mexico, USA. On May 15, 1975, Andres "Andy" Garcia was one of 18 soldiers lost or killed in a failed attempt to rescue a US cargo ship near Koh Tang island. it was called the Mayaguez incident, historically considered the last battle of the decade-long conflict in the Southeast Asia.
