The statement by president as following: Before we start on question tonight, I would like to make a statement on the subject of assistant to Cambodia and south Vietnam. There are 3 issues. the first is the future of people who live there. The second issue is whether the problems of Indochina will be settled by conquest or by negotiation. The third issue is the reliability of the United States.
សេចក្ដីថ្លែងការណ៍របស់នាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីមានអត្ថន័យដូចតទៅៈ មុនពេលយើងចាប់ផ្ដើមសួរសំណួរនៅល្ងាចនេះ ខ្ញុំសុំធ្វើសេចក្ដីថ្លែងការណ៍មួយ ស្ដីពីការផ្ដល់ជំនួយដល់កម្ពុជា និងវៀតណាមខាងត្បូង។ មានបញ្ហា ៣ ដែលនឹងលើកយកមក និយាយ ទី១ គឺស្ថានភាពអនាគត់របស់ប្រជាជនរស់នៅទីនោះទី២ គឺថាបញ្ហានៅឥណ្ឌូចិនអាចដោះស្រាយបានដោយហឹង្សា ឬសន្ដិវិធី ទី៣ ការអាចទុកចិត្ដបានរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិច។
