During November 9, 1975, stopover in Paris, Cambodian Royal government of National Union (RGNU) chief of state Norodom Sihanouk told an RGNU diplomat that he had virtually abandoned hope of any Soviet action which would improve his own position.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី០៩ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ១៩៧៥ សមេ្ដចសីហនុ ដែលជាប្រធាន រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលរួបរួមជាតិ នៅទីក្រុងប៉ារីស ដោៀយបានប្រាប់ទៅអ្នក ការទូតរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលរួបរួមជាតិកម្ពុជាថា ទ្រង់ពុំមានសង្បឹមថា សកម្ម ភាពរបស់សូវៀត អាចជួយឱ្យឋានៈគាត់ប្រសើរឡើងនោះ។
