A source reported that on November 8, 1972, about 500 Khmer-Yuon Viet Cong armed forces moved from Prey Sla village at WT 338-897, Peareang district, Prey Veng province to Trakiet village at WT 253-885 and WT 258-887 in Rorka commune, Peareang district, Prey Veng province. They attempted to attack National Army position in Vihea sour.
ប្រភពព័ត៌មានបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ៨-វិចិ្ឆកា-១៩៧២ យួនយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធ គ្រប់ធុនបានធ្វើដំណើរចេញពីភូមិព្រៃស្លា ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ៣៣៨-៨៩៧ ក្នុងស្រុកពារាំង ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង សំដៅមកភូមិត្រកៀត ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ២៥៣-៨៨៥ និង ២៥៨-៨៨៧ ក្នុងសង្កាត់រកា ស្រុកពារាំង ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង ហើយមានគោលបំណង របស់ខ្មាំងប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងការពារជាតិនៅវិហារសួគ៌។
