Layman Kang, cadre of Hospital of Southwest Zone, confessed that Bun Thann aka Chann him, Peng Yean, Ta Pakk, Ta Tit, and Ta Khit to be within the Vietnam clout. In 1973, Chann conspired to stir up trouble in the liberated zones and battlefront with the White Khmer.
អាចារ្យកង កម្មាភិបាលមន្ទីរពេទ្យភូមិភាគនិរតី បានឆ្លើយថា ឈ្មោះ ប៊ុន ថាន់ ហៅ ចាន់ បានអូសទាញ ប៉ែន យាន, តាប៉ាក់, តាទិត, តាឃីស និង ខ្លួនចូលក្នុងទ្ធិពលវៀតណាម។ នៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣ ចាន់ បានចូលរួមសកម្មភាពអុកឡុកតំបន់រំដោះ និងសមរភូមិមុខ ជាមួយខ្មែរសដែលមានឈ្មោះធឹម ត្រឡៃ ជាមេ ហើយជាសេអ៊ីអា និងជាខ្មែរសេរី។
