On July 25, 1971, about 600 Khmer Viet Cong and 500 North Yuon Viet Cong troops gathered in Prey Chaom around Phnom Thma Dos, Kandoeng sub-district, Bati district VT 785-494, and set up shetlers in front of Wat Prey Phnhy VT 863-336, Trapeang Thom village, Prey Phdao sub-district, Prey Kabass district in an attempt to attack National Army based in Srok Pur village.
ពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួន៦០០នាក់ និងយៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ បានប្រជុំគ្នានៅតំបន់ព្រៃ ជាំជុំវិញភ្នំថ្មដុះ ក្នុងសង្កាត់កណឹ្ដង ស្រុកបាទី ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៧៨៨-៤៩៤។ បានតាំងទីលំនៅមុខវត្ដព្រៃភ្ញី ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ ៨៦៣-៣៣៦ ក្នុងភូមិត្រពាំងធំ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ព្រៃផ្ដៅ ស្រុកព្រៃកប្បាស ដោយ បំណងវាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិយើងប្រចាំការនៅភូមិស្រុកពោធិ៍។
