Layman Kang, cadre of Hospital of Southwest Zone, confessed that Veng, secretary of Big Cell of Region 32, betrayed the party through the indoctrination of Bun Thann aka Chann. Chann and Veng frightened soldiers of military unit in an attempt to get them fear of the battlefield. This aimed to cause disintegration from a battalion to a battalion and sow war-frightened spirit, which made them fear of engaging the battlefield.
អាចារ្យកង កម្មាភិបាលមន្ទីរពេទ្យនិរតី បានឆ្លើយថា ឈ្មោះ វែង លេខាវរសេនាតូចរបស់កងតំបន់ ៣២ ក្បត់បក្សតាមការអប់រំពី ឈ្មោះប៊ុន ថាន់ ហៅ ចាន់។ ចាន់និងវែងចលនាក្នុងជួរកងទ័ព ធ្វើឱ្យកងទ័ពខ្លាចសមរភូមិមិនចង់ច្បាំង ធ្វើឱ្យទ័ពបកបាក់គ្នាពីវរៈមួយ ទៅវរៈមួយទៀត បានបណ្ដុះស្មារតីទ័ពខ្លាចសង្គ្រាម ខ្លាចខ្មាំងលែង ហ៊ានប្រយុទ្ធ។
