Interviewed with Nhim Sren, who is Pich Yan's younger sister. Sren said that Yan left home since 1972. A teachea named Sok who was a chief of region 25 inducted him to join the revolution. First he oftenly visited home. During the Mekong River Battalefield, Yan was sick and stayed in Kampong Kor hospital in Koh Thom disitrict. His mother and his yuounger sister had visited him at that time. In 1974, when his parents had moved to Koh Teav, Yan visited home once. Ater the collapse of Phnom Penh in 1979, Mei Satt told Sren that he had seen Yan led a group of soldier in Koh Ta Teave. Since then he disappeared.
ខេឌីអាយ០៩៩១ ២០០៤១២១២ នៅភូមិពោធិ៍ទនេ្ល ឃុំកោះធំ(ក) ស្រុកកោះធំ ខេត្តកណ្តាល។ សម្ភាសដោយៈឡុង ដានី កំណត់សំគាល់ៈពេជ យាន បាត់ខ្លួន។ ជួបសម្ភាសជាមួយញឹម ស្រិន ត្រូវជាប្អូនស្រីរបស់ពេជ យាន។ ស្រិនបានប្រាប់ថា យានបានចេញពីផ្ទះតាំងពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ តាមរយៈគ្រូសុក គណៈតំបន់២៥។ ពេលនោះយានឧស្សាហ៍មកលេងផ្ទះ។ នៅពេលវៃនៅទនេ្លមេគង្គ យានមានជំងឺហើម ដេកនៅពេទ្យកំពង់គ ស្រុកកោះធំ។ ម្តាយនិង ប្អូនស្រីបានចុះទៅសួរសុខទុក្ខយានដែរ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ពេលឪពុកម្តាយរបស់គាត់ទៅនៅកោះទាវ យានធ្លាប់មកលេងផ្ទះ ម្តងដែរ។ ក្រោយបែកឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ឈ្មោះម៉ើ សាត់បាននិយាយ ប្រាប់ស្រិនថា ធ្លាប់ឃើញយានដឹកនាំកងទ័ពទៅខាងកោះទាវ។ ក្រៅពីនោះមិនដែលឮដំណឹងពីយានទៀតឡើយ។
