Ung Kim San confessed that he attended to be a soldier in 1970. After he was a sergeant, his salary was that 60,000 Riel per month. In 1974, after he had transferred to Kbal Rormeas base, under the order of Ngoh Saroeun, and attended the fight in Slap Ta Oan battlefield, he got injury and sent to hospital. After the liberation, Kim San was indoctrinated by Kim Hai to escape into Thailand in order to set up army to fight back to Cambodia in the future. Because of hopelessness to go to Thailand, Kim San and his 4 network surrender to the Angkar.
អ៊ុង គឹមសាន សារភាពថា បានចូលធ្វើទាហាននៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៧០។ ក្រោយមកឡើងសក្ដិជាកាប៉ូរ៉ាល់ បានប្រាក់ខែ ៦,០០០ រៀលក្នុង ១ខែ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ផ្លាស់ទៅបន្ទាយក្បាលរមាស នៅក្រោមបញ្ជា របស់ ងោះ សារឿន បានបើកយុទ្ធនាការវាយយកភ្នំស្លាបតាឱន ពីខ្មែរក្រហមវិញ ពេលនោះត្រូវរបួសដេកពេទ្យ ។ ក្រោយរំដោះ គឹមសាន ត្រូវបានឈ្មោះ គឹម ហៃ អូសទាញឱ្យរត់ទៅសៀម បង្កើតជាទ័ពវាយយកប្រទេសខ្មែរវិញនៅពេលខាងមុខ។ គឹមសាន និង បក្ខពួក ៤នាក់ទៀត បានចូលសារភាពជាមួយអង្គការវិញ ដោយគ្មានសង្ឃឹមថាធ្វើដំណើរបានទៅដល់គោលដៅ។
