Eam Khoem aka Run, cadre of battalion, division 450, confessed that since 1973 Ek, working at political battalion 509, division of northern zone, was a traitorous network of So, chief of Kampong Svay sub-district, Kampong Thom province. In the early year of 1973, Ek and his network set up plan to convince soldier to flee from their line.
