Thaong Sereivuth joined the revolutionary movement with Ho Nun in France in 1954. He allegedly acted with the C.I.A. against the KR by destroying Angkar's structure and allegedly encouraged people to hate the socialist regime and also built up C.I.A. forces to hide themselves among the ordinary people in every Region. Angkar arrested him on 31st March, 1977.
ថោង សេរីវុទ្ធ បានចូលរួមចលនាបដិវត្ដន៍ជាមួយ ហូ នុន នៅប្រទេស បារាំងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៥៤។ គាត់បានធ្វើសកម្មភាពជាមួយ សេ អ៊ី អា ប្រឆាំងនឹងខ្មែរក្រហមដោយបំផ្លាញរចមាស័ម្ពន្ធរបស់ អង្គការ និង លើកទឹកចិត្ដឱ្យប្រជាជនស្អប់នឹងរបបសង្គមនិយម និង កសាងកងកម្លាំង សេ អ៊ី អា ដើម្បីលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងចំណោមប្រជាជន សាមញ្ញគ្រប់ តំបន់ទាំងអស់។ អង្គការបានចាប់ខ្លួនគាត់នៅថ្ងៃទី៣១ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧។
