Interviewed with Pheng Mon, 37, Lean's younger sister. Mon said that Lean was born in the year of the horse. First he lived in Phnom Penh. In 1974, he escaped home. In 1975, Angkar assigned him to work in the mobile brigade. Then he was sent to Phnom Penh. In 1978 Lean was assigned to control the petrol in Chraing Chamreh. In late 1978, he visited home. He also wrote letters home. Lean has eight siblings, five of them alive. Lean's father died after 2001.

មុំបានឱ្យដឹងថា លានកើតនៅឆ្នាំមមី មុនដំបូងគាត់រស់នៅទីក្រុង ភ្នំពេញ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤គាត់បានរត់មកផ្ទះ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥អង្គការ ចាត់តាំងឱ្យទៅធ្វើកងទ័ពចល័តបន្ទាប់មកបញ្ជូនទៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨ លានមាននាទីជាអ្នកកាន់កាប់សាំងនៅច្រាំងចំរេះ។ នៅចុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨នេះគាត់បានមកលេងផ្ទះហើយបាន សរសេរ សំបុត្រមកសួរសុខទុក្ខអ្នកផ្ទះដែរ។ លានមានបងប្អូន៨នាក់ សព្វថៃ្ងនៅរស់៥នាក់។ ឪពុករបស់លានទើបស្លាប់ក្រោយ ឆ្នាំ២០០១នេះទេ។ |
