On July 13, 1971, about 137 North Yuon-Khmer Viet Cong soldiers set up shelters at VT 585-813, in Peang Lvea village, at VT 586-802, in Kong Rut village at VT 606-787, in Ang Ta Ek village, at VT 613-787, in Daung Village and at VT 633-782, in Prey Ta Trou village, Pang Lvea sub-district, Oudong district, Kampong Speu province. They attempted to raid on the National Army who were going to the above region.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែកក្ដដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ យួនយៀកកុងខាងជើង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល១៣៧នាក់ បានមកតាំងជម្រកក្នុងភូមិ នានាដូចជាភូមិពាំងល្វា វ៉េតេៈ៥៨៥-៨១៣, ភូមិគង់រុត វ៉េតេៈ ៥៨៦-៨០២, នៅវត្ដអង្គតាអែក វ៉េតេៈ៦០៦-៧៨៧, ភូមិដូង វ៉េតេៈ ៦១៣-៧៨៤ និងនៅភូមិព្រៃតាទ្រូ វ៉េតេៈ៦៣៣-៧៨២ ក្នុងឃុំពាំងល្វា ស្រុកឧដុង្គ ខេត្ដកំពង់សឺ្ព។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះមានបំណង ចាំស្ទាក់វាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិយើងដែលចេញទៅប្រតិបតិ្ដការ។
