Lost relatives: In the rainy season of 1978, a Khmer Rouge cadre (unknown) sought out my cousin, Min Matt, and ordered him to grow crops in a location unknown to him.. Min Matt lived in Andaung Thma Village, Stung Trang District, Kampong Cham Province. The Khmer Rouge called upon him when he was building a dyke at a construction site at Stung Trang District. From that moment on, he has never returned. I learned of this incident from my parents. I think my brother was killed by the Khmer Rouge, because he has never returned. I do not know why the Khmer Rouge captured him. Approximately a month and a half later, the Khmer Rouge called upon my younger brother and cousin, Min Tin (male) and Min Saros (female), a sibling of Min Matt, at nighttime, and they were taken to an unknown place. I do not know why the Khmer Rouge took them away. They have not been seen since. I learned of this incident from my parents. Mode of participation: I request the ECCC to file the application form to be a complainant. I do not have sufficient time to go to the court and I am really busy with my everyday work. Therefore, I respectfully request the ECCC to allow me to file the application form to be a complainant. |
