Va Saren, 24, chief of political section of Company, was born in Prasaut Sub-district, Svay Rieng district, Svay Rieng Province. In 1970, Saren joined the Vietnamese troop and fled from Vietnam and joined forces with Kampuchea in Kampong Ro District. In 1971, Angkar withdrew Saren from Battalion 130. In 1972, Phuon and Phan assigned Saren to work for economy in Battalion 130 and were educated on serving for the Free Khmer movement in 1973 by inciting problems with the military rank and convincing soldiers to flee home. In 1975, Phuon and Phan assigned Saren to infiltrate into Unit 502 at Pochentong to persuade soldiers to provoke conflict with each other, destroy important materials, wait for plans to crush gasoline station and contact soldiers to counter the revolution.
ឈ្មោះវ៉ា សារ៉េន អាយុ ២៤ ឆ្នាំ ប្រធាននយោបាយ កងអនុសេនាធំ កើតនៅឃុំប្រសូត្រ ស្រុកស្វាយរៀង ខេត្ដស្វាយរៀង។ ១៩៧០ សារ៉េន ចូលកងទ័ពវៀតណាម បន្ទាប់មករត់ពីវៀតណាមមកនៅជាមួយខ្មែរវិញក្នុងស្រុកកំពង់រោទ៍។ ១៩៧១ អង្គការដកសារ៉េនមកកងវរសេនាតូច ១៣០។ ១៩៧២ ភួននិងផានបានចាត់តាំងសារ៉េនឱ្យធ្វើសេដ្ឋកិច្ច ក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច ១៣០ ហើយបានអប់រំឱ្យចូលបំរើសកម្មភាព ខ្មែរសេរីនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ដោយ ធ្វើសកម្មភាពឱ្យទំនាស់ក្នុងជួរយុទ្ធជន ចលនាយុទ្ធជនឱ្យរត់ទៅផ្ទះ។ ១៩៧៥ ភួននិងផានបានចាត់តាំងសារ៉េន ឱ្យបង្កប់ក្នុងកង៥០២នៅពោធិ៍ចិនតុង ដើម្បីធ្វើសកម្មភាពចលនា យុទ្ធជនឱ្យទំនាស់គ្នា បំផ្លាញសម្ភារៈសំខាន់ៗ ត្រៀមចាំផែនការ កំទេចឃ្លាំងសាំងនិងទាក់ទងយុទ្ធជនដើម្បីប្រឆាំងបដិវត្ដ។
