Sung Nhim aka Sam-an, 24, deputy chief of Small Cell, was a native of Krasaing Torng Village, Por Nhea Lieng Sub-district, Preah Sdech District, Prey Veng Province. Sam-an joined the army in Peam Chor DIstrict, in 1970. In 1971, Sam-an came to battalion 130 under the leadership of Phuon. Then, Phuon indoctrinated Sam-an with joining forces with the Free Khmer activities. Seeing that Sam-an had anactive role in countering the revolution, Sam-an was sent to Free Khmer movement and infiltrated into Battalion 130. Sam-an convinced soldiers to escape battlefront and weapons, and shot their own arms causing themselves unable to work. In 1975, Sam-an inspired soldiers to set off bombs, leaving a truck load of arms damaged. Phuon assigned Sam-an to infiltrate into Unit 502 [Aviation], taking theresponsibility for expanding forces secretly in preparation for July 1976 plans to destroy important materials.
ឈ្មោះស៊ឹង ញឹម ហៅ សំអាន អាយុ ២៤ ឆ្នាំ អនុប្រធានកងធំ កើតនៅភូមិក្រសាំងទង ឃុំពញាលៀង ស្រុកព្រះសេ្ដច ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង។ សំអាន បានចូលកងទ័ពនៅស្រុកពាមជរ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ ១៩៧១ មកនៅវរសេនាតូច ១៣០ ក្រោមការដឹកនាំរបស់ភួន។ ក្រោយមកភួនបានអប់រំសំអានឱ្យចូលបំរើសកម្មភាពខ្មែរសេរី ដោយឃើញសំអានមានសកម្មភាពប្រឆាំងបដិវត្ដក៍បញ្ជូនក្នុងអង្គការ ខ្មែរសេរីបង្កប់ខ្លួនក្នុងវរសេនាតូច ១៣០។ សំអាន ចលនាយុទ្ធជន ឱ្យរត់ចោលសមរភូមិ រត់ចោលអាវុធ បាញ់ដៃខ្លួនឯងលែង ធ្វើការកើត។ ១៩៧៥ សំអាន ចលនាយុទ្ធជនឱ្យបោកគ្រាប់បែក ឆេះកាំភ្លើងអស់មួយឡាននៅព្រែក ឯង។ ភួនបានចាត់តាំងសំអានឱ្យ ទៅបង្កប់ក្នុងកង៥០២«កងអាកាសចរ» មានភារកិច្ចពង្រីកកម្លាំងដោយ សម្ងាត់ត្រៀមចាំផែនការខែ៧-១៩៧៦ ក្នុងការកំទេចសម្ភារៈ សំខាន់ៗដែលខ្លួនទទួលខុសត្រូវ។
