Sam Soeun, 21, white skin, was a native of Kampong Thom province. Soeun worked at military unit of Eastern Zone. Soeun joined the CIA in 1973 at a prison by longing for ranks and having in mind anti-revolutionary Angkar. Soeun was incarcerated by the enemy at national road no.1 battlefield. After the liberation, Soeun infiltrated himself into old unit to persuade soldiers and report to Yim Saroeun to connect his network.
ឈ្មោះសំ សឿន អាយុ ២១ ឆ្នាំ សម្បុរស ស្រុកកំណើត នៅខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។ សំ សឿន នៅអង្គភាពយោធាភូមិភាគបូព៌ា។ សឿន ចូលសេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣នៅក្នុងគុក ដោយចង់បាន បុណ្យសក្ដិនិងមានគំនិតប្រឆាំងអង្គការបដិវត្ដ។ សឿន ជៅប់គុក ដោយខ្មាំងចាប់បាននៅសមរភូមិផ្លូវជាតិលេខ១។ ក្រោយរំដោះ សឿនមកបង្កប់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងអង្គភាពចាស់ដើម្បីបំផុសយុទ្ធជននិងរាយ ការណ៍ទាក់ទងជាមួយយឹម សារឿន ដើម្បីបន្ដខ្សែរយះទៀត។
