Sarin, Chief of Group Kh-2, joined the revolution, serving as a soldier of Kh-13 in June 1973. In 1974, Sarin got injure and was hospitalized. At the time, Sarin denounced that the medical persons there were careless in giving injection. In late 1974, Sarin left the hospital and went back to transport unit K-44. From 1975 to 1976, Sarin spread propaganda against Angkar over food rations, miserable life in cooperative, insufficient food, and over work in disproportion for food.
ឈ្មោះសារិន ប្រធានក្រុមខ-២ បានចូលធ្វើបដិវត្ដជាយុទ្ធជននៅ ឃ-១៣ នៅខែ៦-១៩៧៣។ ១៩៧៤ សារិន ត្រូវរបួសទៅដេក ពេទ្យហើយបាននិយាយវាយប្រហារថាពេទ្យមិនបានយកចិត្ដទុកដាក់ ក្នុងការចាក់ថ្នាំឱ្យទេ។ ចុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ សារិន បានចេញពីពេទ្យទៅ នៅខាងកងដឹកជញ្ជូនគ-៤៤។ ១៩៧៥-១៩៧៦ សារិន បាន ឃោសនាវាយប្រហារអង្គការពីការហូបចុក រស់នៅជាសហករណ៍ មានការលំបាក ហូបមិនឆ្អែត ធ្វើការហួសកម្លាំង មិនសំល្មមនឹង របបអារហារ។
