My cousin named Phin Phan and uncle named Chea Cheoun were killed by the KR:
In 1977, an unknown militiaman came to arrest my cousin, Phin Phan, and my uncle, Chea Cheoun, from our house. Both of them were then killed at Samrong Pagoda in Battambang Province. I did not witness the killing, but when the KR came to arrest them, I was present. They were accused of being commune chiefs during the prior government [before the KR regime]. |
