Long Vat, 27, was a native of Prey Veng province. Vat, chief of artillery squad, battalion Ng-75, Eastern Zone. Vat was a monk and obtained Buddhist Disciplinary Certificate. Vat joined the CIA in 1973 with Ty Rit being a nominator and was a secret agent of Yim Saroeung. Vat was incarcerated in 1973 on charge of spying out secret from the revolution, by fleeing to the enemy at national road no.1 battlefield. In the prison, Vat persuaded the inmates to distant themselves from the revolution. After the revolution, Vat infiltrated himself into old unit to pit soldiers against the revolutionary Angkar.
ឈ្មោះឡុន វ៉ាត អាយុ ២៧ ឆ្នាំ ស្រុកកំនើតនៅខេត្ដព្រៃវែង។ វ៉ាត ប្រធានពួកកងកាំភ្លើងធំ កងវរៈង-៧៥ ភូមិភាគបូព៌ា។ វ៉ាត ធ្លាប់បួសជាសង្ឈ ហើយមានសញ្ញាប័ត្រធម្មវិន័យ។ វ៉ាត ចូលសេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ អ្នកឧទេ្ទសនាមទី រិត ហើយជាភ្នាក់ ងារសម្ងាត់របស់យឹម សារឿង។ វ៉ាត ជាប់គុកនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ដោយរត់ចូលខ្មាំងនៅសមរភូមិផ្លូវជាតិលេខ១ តែខ្មាំងចោទថាមក យកការណ៍ក៍ចាប់ដាក់គុក។ នៅក្នុងគុកបានអូសទាញអ្នកទោសដូចគ្នាឱ្យដកខ្លួនពីបដិវត្ដន៍។ ក្រោយរំដោះវ៉ាត មកបង្កប់ខ្លួននៅអង្គភាព ចាស់ដើម្បីចលនាយុទ្ធជនឱ្យប្រឆាំងជាមួយអង្គការបដិវត្ដន៍។
