The source reported that on December 27, 1973, maybe 500 Khmer Communist armed forces with two 82 mm heavy artilleries and alarge number of rifles moved from Svay village at VT 682-633, VT 686-647 in Chek village, Kandal Stung district toward Romeang village and positioned their headquarters at VT 704-667 in Samdach Chuon Nat district. They attempted to out off National Road 4 at Kruos school in Ang Snuol district a short time latter.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដ ចំនួន៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃពិសេកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់៨២ ម.ម ២ដើម និងបានធ្វើចលនាពីភូមិស្វាយ វ៉េតេ ៦៨២-៦៣៣ និង ភូមិចេក វ៉េតេ ៦៨៦-៦៤៧ ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ហើយចូលមក តាំងទីបញ្ជាការនៅភូមិរមាំង វ៉េតេ ៧០៤-៦៦៧ ស្រុកសមេ្ដចជួន ណាត។ ខ្មាំងមានគោលបំណងវាយប្រហារផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤ នៅម្ដុំ សាលាគ្រួស ក្នុងស្រុកអង្គស្នួល ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ។
