Phnom penh, March, 21, the British Embassy in phnom penh was closed today with the departure of the three diplomats and three administrative staff to saigon by special American flight. Five rockets landed near pochentong airport terminal at the time of the departure but no damage was caused to the aircraft a c-47 Dakota. Shorthy before leaving, Mr Danald Middletons, the charge d'Affaires, Said le would remain in saigon and attempt to phnom penh every few weeks if circumstances allowed. He added that Britain would continue to recohnize the Lon Nol Government and the closing of the embassy should be considered temporary.
