To understand other people's revolutions is never very easy, and our perception of liberated Cambodia had got off to a bad start with the general impression that a sort of wild fanaticism rullers the Khmers Rouge. South Vietnam's provisional revolutionary government enjoys a better press, but perhaps only until it begins to take action to transform Vietnamese society.
