Last year saw notable changes in the balance of strength on the Cambodia battle field. Large numbers of enemy effectives were wiped out by the Cambodian armyman and people, and the war situation became more fevorable than ever for the Cambodian people. The people's armed forces of national of Cambodia were growing rapidly and firmly grasped the initiative on the battle field. Suffering one after another, the Lon Nol puppet troops were in a passive position and came under blows time after time. The flames of war were approaching the Lon Nol Clique's doorstep.
