Over the last weeks the US quistings in Phnom Penh have been quarreling with one another. Lon Nol denounced In Tam, reported AP on September 24, as incapable and urged his resignation. But as In Tam did not comply, Lon Nol socked him. In Tam was first Vice-premier and Home Minister of the Phnom Penh administration re-shuffled in May 1971. UPI revealed that his dismissal was promted by a fend between Lon Nol and him.
