Summary / Abstract :
|
Saigon : Podsolisation and latcrisation, two terms used by soil specialists, are household words nowhere at the moment. Yet they are likely to come into more frequent use as the effects of American bombing in Indochina are felt in the future. Both terms describe processes, applicable to tropical climate and especially to Indochina, by which fertile soil permanently loses its capacity to support arganic life.
