South Vietnamese troops wait to be transported into antion again the communists in eastern to Cambodia. The two-week-old Vietnamese drive through rubber plantation country was proceeding about 60 miles from the area north of Phnom Penh where Cambodia troops were routed last week by north Vitenamese attacks. The Cambodians had been trying to reopen an importan highway from the capital to the northern provinces. American pilots in Saigon, meanwhile, reported that a North Vietnames MIG fighter had unsuccessfully fired on a B-52 bomber over the Ho Chi Minh trail supply network. It was the first reported air attack on a B-52 since the gaint bombes began missions in Indochina in 1965.
