China's mediation in the complex Cambodian situation appears to have been an almost unqualified success. Prince Norodom Sihanouk, regarded as the Cambodian head of state, is reported to be preparing his immient department from Pyongyang, the North Korea capital, where he has satyed for the past three months with his entourage.
