Summary / Abstract :

In the 3 weeks ending December 15, the Cambodian People's National Liberation Armed Forses mounted Violent onsets on the enemy troops around Phnom Penh, Kampong Thom City and estern Cambodia, iflicting heavy losses on the Phnom Penh and Saigon troops stationed at important positions in Ba Deng Baset and Damber Wat Thmey. According to AKI, in an ambush last Novermber 28 Northwest of Phnom Penh, the pariotic force completely wipe out one battalion of Phnom Penh troops, by knocking out over 300 of them, Siezing more than 40 firearms and quantity of other war materials. Seared by such a firece attack, 2 adverse compaines garrisoned in Trapeang Thnot, 14 km North west of Phnom Penh, took to flight.
