A New Phase in the Lao Revolution: Then the French come back to Indochina and the Lao, together with the Vietnamese and Cambodia people, put up a fierce resistance. The First Indochina War (1945-1954) ended with the Geneva Agreement compelling the Frech to withdraw their troops. However, the US imperialists soon made their way into Laos and twice in five years broke up the kingdom's coalition the second Indochina war. P4
