Summary / Abstract :
A Regime on the Verge of Collapse: Five years have passed by since March 18, 1970 when on orders from the US, the Lon Nol-Sirik Marak clique staged a reactionary coup d'état against the lagal government of Samdech Norodom Sihanouk. Nixon made Cambodia the parttern for the implementation of his doctrince in its "purest form" That is he spared nothing needed so as to ring up a viable puppet administration and enemy in Phnom Penh. In 1970 sixty thousands GTs and forty thousands Saigon troops invaded Cambodia. Billions of dollars were poured into prop up the Lon Nol regime. In the first 150 days of 1972, B.52S and F.IIIS released millions of tons of bombs in order to check the advance of the Cambodia revolution. P11
