Chronology (March 16-April 15, 1974) 17, Senator Edward Kennedy made public a letter to Henry Kissinger demanding detrails on the continuation of US aid to the pro American regimes in South Vietnam Laos and Cambodia. He also cretized the letter sent on March 6 by Graham Martin, US Ambassador in Saigon, to the state Department in which the US Ambassador hinted that North Vietnam had been typing to persuade the US Congress to reduce American military and economic aid to the Saigon regime; 18-Oudong,former Khmer royal capital, liberated by the partriotic forces. According to UPI, this is the greatest military deteat suffered by Lon Nol since 1970. P17
