Insurgent activity picked up at several points around Phnom Penh today, and two columns of government forces were moving against a five-miles-wide road-block on the capitals rout to the sea. Military sources reported... Government troops supported by 50 armored vehicles attacked the eastern end of the Khmer Rouge Blocked on highway 4, just outside the abandoned Thanal Totung market, 19 miles west of Phnom Penh, field reports said.
