Summary / Abstract :
|
Cambodia: Increasing Interference by the US. After being forced to sign the Paris Agreement on Vietnam and end its war of aggression against Laos so that the various partints in that country might sign the Vientians Agreement, the US imperialists planned also to waithdraw from Cambodia, but from a position of strength and while maintaining their hanchmen there. To show their "good will" they instructed their lackeys to carry out "einlateral" cause fine and propose peaceful negotiations. But these measures were flatly rejected by the Cambodia resistence forces. The US then concentrated all its efforts and the use of its air force, especially B-52 S, on attacking Cambodia for 150 days and night in succession in an attempt to stamp out the residence forces.
