With great jubilation, people in Peking gave the glorious envoys of the Cambodian people coming from a heroic land a cerimonial, warm welcome. The delegation of the National United Front of Cambodia (NUFC) and the Royal Government of National Union of Cambodia (RGNUC) arrived in Peking from Hanoi by special plane on the afternoon of April 1 for an official, friendly visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese government. Head of delegation is Khieu Samphan, member of the political bureau of the NUFC central committee, deputy prime minister and minister of national defence of the RGNUC and commander-in-chief of the people's armed force of national leberation of Cambodia. Deputy Head is Ieng Sary, special adviser to the deputy prime minister's office.
