According to AFP (March 24) "Tension and general insecurity continue prevailing in Phnom Penh and situation is expected to drag on for months. In fact, development in Phnom Penh have not come as a surprise to concerned observers. In fact of the ever surprise greater gains of the Khmer people's patriotic against US aggression and for national salvalion, under the able leadership of the National United Front of Kampuchea and the Government of National Union of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Phnom Penh ruling circles on the US payroll have shown utmost panic.
