Cambodia's liberation forces are marching from victory to victory. In the first two weeks of April, according to reports by United Press International Liberation Armed Forces Captured more than a dozen government strongholds in the defense perimeter of Phnom Penh, the capital. Recent vitories by the liberation forces at Oudong, Kampot and Takao "are devastating to the morale" of the Lon Nol Army, Washington Post correspondent Elizabeth Becker recently reported from Phnom Penh.
