Three years ago, Cambodia was at an important turning point. It was when the US imperialists realized that their fianancial "aid" provacations and military pressure from both Thailand and South Vietnam borders, and the CIA subversive schemes were no more effective in compelling the peace-loving and neutral Cambodia to chang its line. It was also when many substantied gains of the anti-US fight for national salvation of the Vietnamese and Laos peoples indiuced Washington to believe that "neutral Cambodia has become a thorn in the US flash" and that "the crime of the people and government of the kingdom of Cambodia a base aggression of the US" This belief become intolerable to the new government in the United States.
