Phnom Penh, May 3(AP). Insurgent gunners today forced government defenders to abandon part of the Longvek camp, where 21,000 besigned refugees and 4,000 soldiers have dwinding supplied adn little hope of rescue. Ten miles south of Longvek, on highway 5, government troops seeking to link up with the camp skirmished with some of the estimated 1,000 rebels blocking their way. But government sources held out little hope for reinforceing or evacuating the camp, and observers say the defenders will have to fight the insurgents off or be overrun.
