On 26th March, Khieu Samphan, chairman of the state presidium of Democratic Cambodia, sent the following message to President Sayem of Bangladesh. On the occasion of the national day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, on behalf of the government and People of Democratic Cambodia, we are delighted to extend to you and through you, to the Banglasdesh people and government our sincere congratulations and greetings. We firmly believe that the friendly relations between our two countries will further strengthen and the family of non-aligned nations. Please accept our high regards.
