During the entire period of the past year, from 17th April 1970 to 17th April 1977, our people, collective workers and peasants and revolutionary army exerted all-out moral and physical effort in thier capacity as the masters of the land and destiny of their country and people to carry out most actively all tasks of defending and building the nation working hard all day and night, they achieved great, significant victories, both in national defence and in national construction effortd. For this reason, our Democratic Cambodia has made soaring progress in all fields.
