Um Samnang, train worker, confessed that Khut Som, railroad technician, served as a spy at a paramilitary barrack in Phnom Penh. Som was under the supervision of Dien Del, Brigadier General. Khut Som convinced that in September 1976, the forces of In Tam and Loek Sam-oeun from Dang Rek mountainous range would open an attack to capture Battambang province. Khut Som distributed leaflets at local areas.
ឈ្មោះអ៊ំ សំណាង កម្មកររទេះភ្លើង ឆ្លើយពីឈ្មោះ ឃុត សុំ អ្នកបចេ្ចកទេសផ្លូវដែកថាៈ ឃុត សុំ ធ្វើគិញនៅបន្ទាយប៉ារា ភ្នំពេញ។ ក្រោយមកនៅជាមួយផ្កាយមួយ ដៀន ដែល។ ឃុត សុំ ត្រៀមរត់ចូលខ្មែរស ហើយនៅពាក់កណ្ដាលឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ទៅជួបថាច់ សឺង នៅភ្នំតានី។ ឃុត សុំ ដើរឃោសនាថាខែ៩-៧៦ មានទ័ព អ៊ិន តាំ និង ឡឹក សំអឿន ចេញពីភ្នំដងរែក ព្រះវិហារ វាយយក ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។ ហើយឃុត សុំ បានបោះត្រាក់តាមមូលដ្ឋានដែរ។
