Phnom Penh, the arrest last week of 60 students and teacher threatens to send the simmering discontent in the educational community here boiling over. Although 35 of the students were subsequently released, the gravity of the situation has led to the resignation of under-secretary of education Kouch Kileng and combined with current economic and military troubles, has put the Long Boret government on the brink of a major crisis.
