PHNOM PENH, Cambodia, September 10-the United States is manufacturing Soviet-style cartridges for the communist made weapon still used by the Phnom Penh Government forces. A qualified military source reported that the United States was providing Cambodia with American-made ammunition to fit the Soviet 7.62 mm AK-47 automatic rifle. The ammunition does not fit the bore of any weapon produced by the United States or its allies.
