Judging from the solemn declarations of four U.S presidents, including Rechard Nixon, it has now become a bundantly clear that the U.S utterly failed in its self-bestowed role in Vietnam. Indeed, never before has the quixotic mission of "allowing the South Vietnamese people to choise the form of government they want, free from outside intervention and presure."
